I cleaned up completely and started again. It was originally intended to be libibery sort of standard cross-platform library, thus enabling it to be linked using the usual Unix library form by just passing “-liberty” to the compiler.

Linux From Scratch – Version 6. The contents consisted of a variety of useful functions. I’m told that libiberty should come with binutils or gcc, libibert it is not being found.
Should I be using a configure option to say which library I want built? I guess that is one for another thread. Hi I have been attempting to build and install gcc 4. Base install and building step by step.
Use a ubuntu repo if you want to be safe. I think that libiberty is not in the repos already built in. Do I need to use a configure option to have these libraries installed in the install step? I libibertty know how to install packages without using apt.

It does indeed seem that cairo and is already installed. Is it actually part of binutils? I can build mono and bless, but bless is throwing an exception when I run it. The time now is If you need to reset your password, click here.
Cairo is always installed by default. If configure is just looking for the libiberty development files and static library then install binutils-dev and gcc-dev:
