Creekside Log Cabins in the Townsend / Walland area are located on the Peaceful side of the Smokies. We are just minutes from the Foothills Parkway, Pigeon Forge , Gatlinburg, and Cades Cove.

Creekside Log Cabins is a family operated business with very unique rental cabins. Our rental cabins are located on 6 acres with a "wet weather" mountain creek and beautiful views of the Smokies.The rental cabins are 1 or 2 bedrooms which are fully equipped with wood burning fireplaces and all cabins have jacuzzis on the porch. We also now have Wireless Internet services to all our cabins. We do not provide telephones in the cabins due to abuse of long distance calls. IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU BRING A CELL PHONE FOR YOUR PERSONAL AND EMERGENCY USE.

Creekside Log Cabins offers the perfect getaway, vacation or honeymoon cabins. Secluded modern log cabins, offers the perfect Smokies hideaway. Just minutes away from Townsend, and the Foothills Parkway. In Townsend you can tube or kayak through town on the crystal clear Little River, or visit the Little River Railroad and Lumber Company Museum at the museum you will be able to see how the lumber was logged out of the Smokies before it became a National Park.

Creekside Log Cabins are in the quaint community of Walland, the cabins are on a creek in this lovely valley. Walland began this century as a tannery town in which the Little River Railroad also served the community.

The Smoky Mountains offer hiking, horseback riding, camping, fishing and all round family fun. Best of all, world renouned Cades Cove and Little River Gorge are on our doorstep in the Smokies. Cades Cove located closest to the western entrance of the Smoky Mountains is rich in historic history of years gone by. Visit the cabins, old mill, churches and cemetaries to learn more about the people and this beautiful cove. Cade Cove offers great hiking to Abrams Falls or even Spence Field. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the Peaceful side of the Smokies. On the Cades Cove loop, you will be able to see deer, bear and many more native animals of the Smokies. Fishing is great in the streams or rivers in the Smokies.

The Foothills Parkway is about 1 mile from our rental cabins. This beautiful parkway provides lovely views of the Smokies and at Look Rock you will have a wide view of the Smoky Mountains.
